Nucar of St. Albans Raises $16,000 for The Bashaw Fund
St. Albans (November 14, 2024) – For Breast Cancer Awareness month in October, Nucar Automall of St. Albans took a portion of funds from every car sold and raised an astounding $16,000 in support of the Jim Bashaw Cancer and Catastrophic Illness Fund. Peter Wright (CEO of Northwestern Medical Center), Jessica Frost (Manager of Population Health) and Chelsea Mulheron (Breast Care Navigator) accepted the proceeds raised on behalf of Jim Bashaw Cancer and Catastrophic Illness Fund.
“To receive this generous level of support from a local business is incredible. All of these funds will go directly to members of our community who are navigating the stressors of cancer or catastrophic illness. We are thankful to Nucar for recognizing the impact that these funds will have during someone’s worst moments.” Said Jessica Frost, Manager of Population Health at Northwestern Medical Center.
The Jim Bashaw Cancer and Catastrophic Illness Fund provides financial assistance to people in Franklin and Grand Isle counties who are struggling with cancer or a catastrophic illness. NMC is proud to partner in distributing these funds of hope.
